Version control for your Godot game projects
Now, from what I’ve seen, at the moment, the only plugins that are available in Godot’s asset library for versioning are Git integrations. In fact, the Godot team has even released an official Git versioning plugin to directly connect your Godot project to a Git SCM.

Godot keeps crashing on staging changes and project can't be opened after that

Allowing DH key exchange algorithm in Gitea?
Thinking it was on the plugins side, I created a Github Issue for the task, and the plugin is using libssh2 1.1 which only supports DH.

(Godot Git Plugin v2.1.0) Error -16: Failed to retrieve list of SSH authentication methods: Failed getting response
I'm relatively new to Git and GitHub still, and I am currently trying to install/set up the Godot Git plugin https://github.com/godotengine/godot-git-plugin/releases/tag/v2.1.0 for a new project in Godot 3.5

Plain text project files
Doesn't the version control plugin handle this?
- Major milestone ready for testing: Godot 4.0 alpha 1 is out!

My 2D Plaformer was working great until I tried to add a boomerang. I tried deleting the code but my character/the enemy is still frozen in place. Does anyone know how I can fix it?
I tried to follow this guide for installing: https://github.com/godotengine/godot-git-plugin/wiki but Godot sees no VCS Addons. Do I have to put the prerequisites somewhere first? The two errors that I'm getting right now are "The identifier "velocity" isn't declared in the current scope." and "Method failed. Returning: ERR PARSE_ERROR"

Godot GitHub Integration Plug-In takes forever to load Notifications. Please Help.
Are you using the "official" Git plugin? (https://github.com/godotengine/godot-git-plugin). It looks like there is another but its no longer receiving updates from the creator (https://github.com/fenix-hub/godot-engine.github-integration)

Ask HN: What is your new year's resolution?
Sort of.
1. I want to start with working through applying shaders to a 3d scene using the Panda3d library (https://github.com/panda3d/panda3d) . This repo covers that: https://github.com/lettier/3d-game-shaders-for-beginners.
2. Create a simple, custom, graphics-only (no collisions / physics) game engine using Entt (https://github.com/skypjack/entt) and Panda3d. The engine would rely mostly on simple inputs, like mouse clicks, and 3d graphics.
3. Configure clangd to warn on features outside C++11 then refactor both projects (1 & 2)
4. Run experiments on the game engine while working through the Vulkan book: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Overv/VulkanTutorial/maste...
