Some advice, tips, and resources I can share for those looking to make GDExtensions
Once you get it building correctly on your machine, you can use GitHub actions to test that it will also build on other desktops, as well as actually build the libraries needed for the extensions on those platforms. So if you're like me and using Windows, you can only build for Windows and Linux. This will build the mac libraries for you. Here's an example of a .yml file that does that. You can compare it against mine to see what I changed for my situation.

How do I use GDExtension?
Godot (engine and extensions) use Scons as a build system. The terminal command >scons does all the work. Without settings >scons uses reasonable defaults. GDExtensionSummator has a step-for-step guide.

Godot 4.0 Stable
That at least gives me hope that the ecosystem will adapt quickly. And I noticed GodotSteam for instance delivered a 4.0 compatible release today already: https://github.com/Gramps/GodotSteam/releases

I just thought folks would wanna know about this
Wild to me this is being released on the iphone before being mac compatible on steam considering it already runs flawlessly on mac when you import the files from a windows pc and paste two files into the install folder and run it. I just did this and it's perfect, it would literally take him minutes of his time to make this available to OSX users.
