Need emergency help with GodotSteam! pls upvote for visibility
Here I'm already trying to use dll and template from windows prebuild win64-g353-s158-gs3221.zip from https://github.com/CoaguCo-Industries/GodotSteam/releases, same results
I really want to add Steam achievements and release is coming soon! I'm using precompiled GodotSteam 3.5.3. When building from editor, I successfully initialize Steam and achieve achievements, however in Mac and Win exports I get "Parse Error: The identifier "Steam" isn't declared in the current scope." As release templates, I'm using templates for official github godotsteam-g353-s158-gs3221-templates.zip. For windows, I've also added steam_api64.dll from the sdk version I'm using to windows_content folder

Godot 4.0 Stable
That at least gives me hope that the ecosystem will adapt quickly. And I noticed GodotSteam for instance delivered a 4.0 compatible release today already: https://github.com/Gramps/GodotSteam/releases

So how are people going about creating mods?
You need this Godot build first, it is practically Godot for building games with Steam.

Can I talk to external modules' API through a programming language I added through a module?
I want to use Lua as the script language for Godot through luascript, and I'm sure it works but with vanilla godot, but what if I eventually have to access some stores' API through an external module like GodotSteam or GodotGOG? Would this newly added programming language work with it?

Godot Steam Integration
There are a few resources online for integrating the SDK. I maintain the GodotSteam project which is a module or GDNative plug-in. Also /u/samsfacee makes a GDNative plug-in, though I do not have the link on hand.

I'm giving out microgrants to open source projects for the third year in a row! Brag about your projects here so I can see them, big or small!
Not sure how relatable but I have been actively working on this for a long time now. I write and maintain a project called GodotSteam which is a Steamworks module for the Godot Game Engine; which is also an awesome open-source project. It helps indie developers interface with Valve's Steamworks API and use all the functions in their games.
