Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

4 hours of my .obj parser so far 😭
I also ported it in an opengl project: https://github.com/aromanro/SolarSystem

Matrices in physics
I've got a lot of physics-related projects on GitHub, most of them use matrices, even if sometimes it's not obvious. For example, this one: https://github.com/aromanro/SolarSystem uses matrices for changing from one coordinate system to another, rotations and so on.

Is there a simpler way to simulate n-body problem?
I also have a solar system simulator, it used at first velocity Verlet, then I switched to Verlet since I really didn't need the velocity in it: https://github.com/aromanro/SolarSystem
- What is a small project you would recommend to someone learning OpenGL?

Function for loading an image into OpenGL
There are countless of open source programs that do that, you just have to look over the sources. For example, one of my projects: aromanro/SolarSystem: A solar system simulator with velocity Verlet, using OpenGL for displaying. (github.com)
