Does it still make sense to roll your own ECS?
For C#, I've found Arch, which looks pretty much like what I need. I would use it with MonoGame.

Its bare minimum and follows the "performance as a feature" doctrine. Its incredible fast and i can proudly say that its among the fastest ( probably even THE fastest ) ecs in this benchmark : Benchmark of the most popular c# ECS
