reshade VS PoB-Item-Tester

If you are interested in making it look even better, then installing ReShade and adding FSAA there also makes a huge improvement over the best settings in game.

Reshade is popularly used with a vast variety of presets to change the atmosphere, anything works which you find appealing. I like u/Gwnf5066 presets.

I spend some time today and klicked through various reshade filters (free download at https://reshade.me ). They can be turned on and off ingame via hotkey, live-changed during the game and have (almost) no performance hit. They also do not declare as a Warno Mod and hence are fully compatible with multiplayer, ranked games etc. As I am not a pro in shaders and such stuff, it was a process of trial and error.

Download Reshade if you want to use CAS Sharpening (make sure to activate it by pressing 'Home' button once you're back in Starfield) since DLSS doesn't have one atm

It sounds like this does the same as https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester but within PoB and is nicely automated?

I thought most people who use 3rd party tools for PoE were already using this https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester script which does the same thing and has existed for over 4 years.

I mean this tool has functionally existed before, see https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester , it just requires less work now

You can also use POB Item Tester with Xanthic's web service to spit out automatic weighted DPS searches for your build based on a PoB. This is generally very useful for jewels that have a ton of different specific mods, but you can also use it for other gear.

For gear I usually just choose a couple of key uniques, and then just fill it out with life+res gear and then use https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester to generate trade searches within my budget

Pick a spell you like (or any other skill that primarily scales of gem levels) and take some time to learn how to use PoeItemTester, if you're using a spell it can really help bridge the gap between the wand you found in a T2 map and the wands people are crafting for 30ex.

I'd love to see a more fleshed out tool native to pob, though there is similar in pob item tester's weighted sum dps search tool.
