  • dxvk

    Vulkan-based implementation of D3D9, D3D10 and D3D11 for Linux / Wine

    Project mention: Battle.net launcher issues | reddit.com/r/Lutris | 2023-01-29

Here is the link. Extract the file to ~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine if you are using native lutris install. I prefer the tkg. Also update your dxvk and vkd3d versions - did you disable hardware acceleration in bnet? I manually install latest dxvk and vkd3d versions from their git pages - extract to ~/.local/share/lutris/runtime/dxvk or vkd3d. In Lutris, they will not appear in the dropdown list, so you type in the folder name that was created when you extracted the files (eg dxvk-2.1)

  • reshade

A generic post-processing injector for games and video software.

    Project mention: How can I fix my Reshade? | reddit.com/r/StarStable | 2023-02-03

Lmao all these people have you the WRONG explanation. You need to download the Full Add-on version of reshade. Reshade can be used to exploit largely competitive FPS games. Which is why when the normal version detects large amounts of server activity, it shuts all your effects off. Or they ‘flicker’ in other words. I believe the website is back up, so you should be able to download it from here. just make sure you snooze the version with full add-on support. It should be a larger button directly under the normal download button. After that, make sure you set it up right, including your depth buffer options. If you need anymore help, I always suggest Jess Northwoods video on V5.0+ and her channel in general. as well as the SSPC discord. which is full of people and tutorials that can help assist you further if needed.
