  • HDR seemingly broken: image has a raised black floor (+fix)

Video shows how to fix it, but for that you need Reshade and the shaders to actually fix it.
  • [Video Games; modding] GShade drama

One of the most well-known shaders is ReShade, an open-source mod released back in 2015 and available for a wide variety of games.
  • Rokid Max Review and Many Tips

You might have some luck using the SuperDepth3D shader for ReShade to add SBS support to PC games that were not designed for it. It "works" in that the Rokid Max will properly display the side-by-side images, but I did not succeed in getting it to actually produce a stereoscopic effect for the games I play. I'll update this post if I discover something new.

Before downloading this preset, make sure you have installed Reshade itself (program) with all effects (https://reshade.me/)

Reshade itself is here: https://reshade.me/ and you can then tweak it to your liking! If you want my preset (it's the .ini you drop in) DM me and I'll see if I can paste the contents in a reply. Reddit seems to block it for safety reasons though.
  • Portable full-HD 3D PC-gaming with Steam Deck and geo-11
    2 projects | /r/SteamDeck | 27 Jun 2023
Obviously I wanted to have 3D PC gaming on the Deck too but I wasn't very optimistic, because 3D vision requires Nvidia drivers (up to version 452.06, Nvidia axed 3D Vision in 2019). There's also the possibility of using some post-processing via reshade (https://reshade.me/, depth3d), but those solutions use the z-buffer, so it's not "proper" 3D.

  • Is Reshade safe?

    1st. No, it’s reshade
  • Reshade licensing and distribution rights when developing applications

However, as I visited the website (https://reshade.me/) I saw this surprising warning: "Do NOT share the binaries or shader files. Link users to this website instead.", which is an obvious contradiction, which also disadvantages users which are not as savvy. Searching around I saw comments of people talking about -some- shaders not being permissive, but I did not come across an obvious example.
