What is the difference between Pygame_SDL2 and Pygame?
Are you talking about `pygame_sdl2` or `pygame._sdl2` (yes, the dot is important). The undotted one is specific to renpy (https://github.com/renpy/pygame_sdl2), but the dotted version is an **experimental** module in pygame that is being explored to use SDL2's gpu capabilities.

My thought on different engines
Godot Engine is a free and open-source game engine. The story started as an in-house engine of an Argentinian studio in 2007, and since 2014, it's been a community-driven project with a lot of contributors.
