Comma3x with Sunnypilot - any unique settings?
Hello, I've been testing c3x with dev branch of sunnypilot and am curious if you use any unique settings? I'm mostly interested now in playing around with lateral control.

Update: experience on 2018 RAV4
Get yourself a SDSU & pedal from https://www.etsy.com/shop/BearTechWorkshop?ref=shop_item_count_pathways&shop_item_count=10&listing_id=1505938755#items I have the 2018 as well & with those and sonnyhaibin’s C3 fork https://github.com/sunnyhaibin/sunnypilot I got the stop & go working along with many other features he’s got added in on top of the stock OpenPilot

Current best fork for comma 2 / Kia (HKG) ?
- sunnypilot: The only fork I've tried so far. MADS* is great. Also has experimental support for HKG radar tracks, which if I understand correctly allows radar-based OP long. But C2 support is stuck at 0.8.12. Supposedly there are plans from sunny to port 0.8.14 to C2, but no idea when. Lateral control works great on highways, but kind of hesitant in streets. There seems to be torque issues at low speeds / in sharp curves. The "slow down in curves" feature is extremely conservative. Also, my fan appears to blow at full speed all the time, I've heard some forks manage it better.

My first drive was amazing.
A fork of openpilot. Sunny pilot offers the user a unique driving experience for select car models with modified behaviors of driving assist engagements.

What is the industry standard today in C++ to deploy REST microservices in Kubernetes?
In my past job, we used https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio and absolutely loved it. It's not as active but it honestly didn't need much.

What are some fun project ideas with C++?
Here's a C++ REST framework for you to use too: https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio

What are some cool modern libraries you enjoy using?
I had a good experience using restinio for a small ASIO HTTP server recently.

Can I use C++ in the backend ?? Any frameworks there ??
It uses restinio https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio with great success ;)

Confused about beginning application development using c++. Pls help.
For networking, pick a networking library. Restinio is a fair choice for HTTP. But, again, feel free to pick others.

NodeJS vs Go for low memory usage
You may find this worthwhile: https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio/issues/101 FWIW, I used Restbed successfully for 3.5 years before switching personal projects to Restino. I've left the job that used Restbed, but I think they are still using it.

What does modern (good) API development look like and what are the best tools to use?
Contrary to the direction most people go, I've been writing REST APIs as C++ servers using two different fairly full featured C++ REST frameworks: first using https://github.com/Corvusoft/restbed and more lately using https://github.com/Stiffstream/restinio. These can be peers with any other server, while living on embedded and/or high compute devices for video encode/decode/analysis, deployed ML models, encryption for and remote process communications, model data collection and similar expensive or in-field processing. In both high compute and in-field-no-internet situations creating REST APIs in C++ enables speed and system controls not present in the majority of the mainstream REST frameworks. It's a big world, and here comes ubiquitous high compute...

cpprestsdk in maintenance mode
If you need an embedded C++ HTTP server then there are plenty of libraries/frameworks (in random order): Crow, RESTinio, Boost.Beast, cpp-httplib, http_backend, Pistache, RestBed, served, proxygen, Simple-Web-Server, drogon, oat++.
What are some alternatives?
openpilot - openpilot is an open source driver assistance system. openpilot performs the functions of Automated Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise Control for 250+ supported car makes and models.
Boost.Beast - HTTP and WebSocket built on Boost.Asio in C++11
dragonpilot - dragonpilot - 基於 openpilot 的開源駕駛輔助系統
Restbed - Corvusoft's Restbed framework brings asynchronous RESTful functionality to C++14 applications.
openpilot - DOES NOT SUPPORT COMMA 3X - Stock Additions (0.8.14): 3/automatic following distance profiles, customizable fork params with opEdit, and a smoother longitudinal experience for TSS2 Toyotas
C++ REST SDK - The C++ REST SDK is a Microsoft project for cloud-based client-server communication in native code using a modern asynchronous C++ API design. This project aims to help C++ developers connect to and interact with services.
ghostpilot - ghostpilot is an open source driver assistance system. ghostpilot performs the functions of Automated Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise Control for over 85 supported car makes and models.
Crow - A Fast and Easy to use microframework for the web.
openpilot - openpilot is an open source driver assistance system. openpilot performs the functions of Automated Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise Control for over 200 supported car makes and models.
