I can't get an ENB to not look awful
The preset was also designed with ELE in mind and I see you are using ELFX. Additionally, I am not sure if you are using Glamarye Fast Effects for ReShade, but that handles the global illumination, which might be why the game world seems desaturated.

Inexpensive Ambient Occlusion through Reshade
As of right now the easiest way to install this is to first install VRVision, then download the latest release of the Glamarye shaders from https://github.com/rj200/Glamarye_Fast_Effects_for_ReShade/releases/tag/v4.3, then copy those .fx files over to the Shaders/ folder under SkyrimVR.

Fast_FXAA_sharpen_DOF_and_AO for Reshade
This is mainly for Reshade only (no ENB) users. This shader just dropped on Reshade forum and from my brief testing in Skyrim, it seems to cost no FPS at all. I have tested it in a place where MXAO shader would drop my fps by 8-10 even on lowest setting, yet this one costs nothing. Personally I don't need FXAA or sharpening as Im using other shaders for that, but all ambient occlusion shaders I have used in the past would always drop my FPS sooner or later. Everything else you need to know is written and explained on it's GitHub page.

Jagged edges on everything, regardless of AA settings
If you are interested in making it look even better, then installing ReShade and adding FSAA there also makes a huge improvement over the best settings in game.

more realistic graphics part II
I spend some time today and klicked through various reshade filters (free download at https://reshade.me ). They can be turned on and off ingame via hotkey, live-changed during the game and have (almost) no performance hit. They also do not declare as a Warno Mod and hence are fully compatible with multiplayer, ranked games etc. As I am not a pro in shaders and such stuff, it was a process of trial and error.
