Bodyslide simply won’t work
Handy guide for installing bodyslide. The most important thing being that you download bodyslide and install it through Mod Organizer 2, then you run it through Mod Organizer 2.

A CBBE Bodyslide conversion for an outfit pack
I'm specifically interested in the Park Survivor outfit but getting bodyslide for any of them would be awesome. Alternatively, if anyone has a noob friendly guide on how to do this I could attempt it myself. I tried using This guide but I couldn't get any sliders to appear so I gave up.

How do I convert other types of armor pieces (gauntlets, boots etc.) to CBBE in BodySlide/Outfit Studio?
I just recently learned how to use conversion references for converting outfits in Outfit Studio thanks to the guide on github. But some armor pieces still don't fit well on the CBBE body and I was wondering if the process is the same or different.

Who knew Valve would actually make the Steam Deck?
Ok, I've installed it. The script in lutris indeed did not work, but it had a link in the description. That link sends you here: Official Lutris Installer (for Linux) · Issue #10686 · Nexus-Mods/Vortex · GitHub

Valve Revises Steam Survey Results For December - Still Pointing Down For Linux
A lot of those will actually work in Wine/Proton, though configuring it is a pain in the ass. Vortex is supposedly getting close to native Linux support and that's a major one, in the meantime this script for Lutris seems to be recommended by the people working on Vortex. Apparently the one on Lutris itself uses an outdated version and is much jankier.

(BUG) VMM Prompting for user to install .nET desktop runtime 6.0.9 when it's already installed
https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/12680 This guy was having the same issue as I was, but then a moderator came in and said "it was fixed in an update" before closing the problem, but clearly the problem still exists. You can't just pretend problems aren't there.

I finally got my around 350 mods working in fallout 4 in linux and im happy
Vortex does work really well with wine, I recommend using the scripts from this GitHub issue: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/10686

Vortex latest update issue
If this doesn't fix your problems, you'll either need to wait for next Vortex beta-release, or alternatively you can first in Vortex under Settings - Vortex change "Update" to "No automatic updates" and afterwards download and install an older Vortex version from https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/releases

Vortex has no way of doing this. Apparently it's not possible.

Getting error on vortex when I've literally just installed the game with no mods yet
Have you disabled it? Either do this or reinstall Vortex. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/9371

anyone else having an issue with vortex installing new mods?
i tried seeing if there was a way i could manually repath it, but i couldn't find anything in the settings (correct me if im wrong). but in the notification with the error, there's no fix option. all it says is it cant execute ModInstallerIPC.exe and gives no further information (no error code, no details). im really lost here :p but it seems im not alone https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/12308
