This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/linux_gaming

Our great sponsors
  • SurveyJS - Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • Vortex

    Vortex Development (by Nexus-Mods)

  • A lot of those will actually work in Wine/Proton, though configuring it is a pain in the ass. Vortex is supposedly getting close to native Linux support and that's a major one, in the meantime this script for Lutris seems to be recommended by the people working on Vortex. Apparently the one on Lutris itself uses an outdated version and is much jankier.

  • WowUp.CF

  • And as you said some have native launchers, r2modman is one I have used for Risk of Rain 2, and for World of Warcraft Curseforge has a native one, though I like wowup.CF more for addons. And games using the steam workshop should work ootb of course.

  • SurveyJS
