Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Good open source projects to learn from?
Physics3D is I'd say a mid-size project. It is mostly C++11, so nothing cutting edge.
- Do you have any examples of decent projects written in C++?
What are some alternatives?
prop - 2D FDTD solver of Maxwell's equations
cpp-graphics - C++ 2D Graphics Tests and Examples using SDL2, SFML, GLFW and Dear ImGui
gz-sim - Open source robotics simulator. The latest version of Gazebo.
CubiCAD - A fast and modern vulkan based rendering engine
Rythe-Engine - Rythe is a data-oriented C++17 game engine built to make optimal use of modern hardware.
OpenGL_CMake_Skeleton - :heart: A ready to use cmake skeleton using GLFW, Glew and glm. :+1:
N-body - N-body simulation made with C++ and OpenGL
UnitedEngine - Lightweight physic engine designed for massive and fast simulations
engine-sim - Combustion engine simulator that generates realistic audio.
bgfx - Cross-platform, graphics API agnostic, "Bring Your Own Engine/Framework" style rendering library.
zeno - ZEn NOde system - a simulation & rendering engine in nodes
