  SpeedCrop is a Godot-based application for quickly cropping many images in a folder to a specific resolution with an intuitive user interface and support for various image file formats.

Alternatively depending on how often you do the operation and how "real time" it needs to be, an additional option would be making use of threads. In for example this application for cropping images I made, I also use threads to be more efficient.

texture_set_data_partial doesn't seem to exist in the current master branch. This is the only function implementation a string search showed and the implementation is empty (and only for OpenGL).
