Awesome work! If you figured out collision, could it be possibly to implement Lucid VR Gloves/Open gloves so as to have actual force feedback and feel when touching something or holding a weapon? See here: https://github.com/LucidVR/opengloves-driver . This would be immersion on the next level
Usually if that little engines detect it it's a false positive. VMT is also open source: https://github.com/gpsnmeajp/VirtualMotionTracker. I've used it before a couple of years ago and it was completely fine
firstly im not using BastiaanOlij's openVR plugin, mainly because it seems out of date and most of the things in it refuse to open/work on my computer, but also because I dont want it to bridge my knowledge of godot and for me to use it as a replacement in the future.

Try the discord server, they're very helpful
On AMD cards it can even be used for PCVR with AMD Relive and you can combine it with a Razer Hydra and make a proper PC VR headset. There is also iVRy and VRidge which should work on Nvidia, but I never tested them much.
