Frontier Finding Algorithms in robotics
Sup guys, I am student, writing my thesis trying to implement and compare Frontier Finding Algorithms for Autonomous Navigation of Turtlebot3 (also using ROS noetic). I've implemented Yamauchi's Frontier Finding algorithm and I have to Implement 2 more. I'm a little bit short on time (hehe, thesis) so I'd appreciate any good materials on Fast Frontier Detection Algorithm, Wavefront Frontier Detection Algorithm or any repos on github with those implemented algorithms to inspirate from, any feedback on the code is welcomed as well (my repo: https://github.com/kipariss1/warehouse_robot/tree/develop_FFD ). Has anyone done any home-rolled sonar systems?
From a quick search this thesis repo seems to be an effort to do SLAM with a scanning sonar, which might be worth a look/read.
