Can we speak up about the poor quality of the official Google Maps plugin (google_maps_flutter)?
Another huge problem is the platform view. It's slow and laggy. I've been trying to integrate Tangram ES and display it through Texture widget (with gestures connected via FFI), and it works much better (almost perfect), but still too difficult to maintain it properly... Hopefully Google Maps can be implemented in a similar way
