FAQ
I extract models and textures from Deadbydaylight and Deep Rock Galatic using UE Viewer and import them using this Add-on.
-
Grunt Killer
I extract the models from the game with UE Viewer, and use this add-on to import them into Blender. The Textures for the most part (the tattoos are also extracted and for some materials like the skin I just use shaders) are painted and UV edited by me.

STW models available in UEFN?
Are they in .pskx/.psk format? When you extract a model from a UE game, it will export as .psk, and you need to use blender to import those mesh files then export as .fbx for the UEFN to recognize it. Now blender doesn’t come with native support to import .psk files since those are UE specific and you will need to download a blender plug-in to enable that support

How I made the BioShock Infinite VR Map
All things considered, this part is actually pretty easy if you know how to use Gildor's UE Viewer tool. There's a GUI you open and point to your game files, and it returns a bunch of packages for you to search through. Most of the time I was able to find the relevant models by simply looking for the level's prefix S_BW_Enter_*. This will let you export a .PSK file that can be imported into blender with a plugin.

4.19.2: Trying to import assets from an existing game
Check out UE Viewer. You can download it from https://www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel, and it is completely legal for use on Unreal Engine games. NB: you will need to specify the precise engine version of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, so you may need to check the .exe file details. In addition, the exported models will be in the PSK format, so you'll need to download the Blender PSK/PSA importer addon. Unfortunately, this is no longer maintained, so you might need to download Blender 2.83. Hope this helps!

Take only one
I extracted them using UE viewer and using an addon for blender, the textures I painted myself

- How would I go about downloading my own dwarves as .obj/.stl/similar files?
-
Is there a dump on all the files so I don’t have to buy the game to look at them I have it on ps5 but idk if I can do anything with that version
If you can get it to export them without crashing, you can export them as psk files and use this addon to open them

My first large map in hammer. I am amazed how fast this old tool can bake radiosity and doesn't hassle developers with manually unwrapping lightmap UVs or placing light probes for dynamic objects like modern engines require.
custom models are a bitch when you first start off, i'd use SourceOps which makes it much easier, here's a quick overview starter guide i made a while back which isnt the best but outlines what to do

Is there no automated method for converted from blender to source?

Is it legitimately impossible to make a blender file (let's say only default cube in center) import into hammer? (Where convex individual cubes placed in blender are turned into brushes with same placement, relative size differences and possible vertex alterations?)
It's been possible for the past two years give or take. (Sourceops)

Having trouble exporting models to Source Engine
For source, I use SourceOps , for my its more easy than blender Source Tools, you even save settings for multiple games I used for some time BlenderSourceTools but when I get to know SourceOps changed immediately, but BST Its the only that can export to Source 2 so i keep both

hl source into blender
Source OPS (way more convenient than Blender source tools for exporting)- Lets you export models, also allows for creating .QCs and compiling models directly from blender. Can also export displacements
