Reshade really makes ESO look amazing.
It happens a lot with effects like bloom and sometimes it's noticed with ambient occlusion since it takes the user interface as part of the whole. You can resolve that with interface masks or you could also try REST which is a plug-in for Reshade that might need some configuration but has excellent result rendering parts selectively. https://github.com/4lex4nder/ReshadeEffectShaderToggler

โ๏ธ ReShade 5.7.0 setup guide for Guild Wars 2, as well as my own custom set of presets. ๐
๐ ReShadeEffectShaderToggler.addon64 ๐ ReShadeEffectShaderToggler.ini ๐ฆ Source: "ReshadeEffectShaderToggler_1.2.0.570.zip" ^ This seems to be all that's needed for ReShade/UI filtering. But for me, this caused some weird rendering, harsh distant object pop-in and caused some edges to not render correctly, looking abnormally jaggy. YMMV.

Reshade 5.6 have been released.
Again it can if someone writes an addon for that for those games. I believe 4lex4nder wanted to do that with his fork of Shader Toggler but I see it's been 6 months since he last worked on that so it might be a while before he releases something polished and working. Anyways the addon system makes it possible. In fact there is not much that can't be done using the addon system it's just that we don't have that many people capable and interested in writing those.

Apply ReShade shaders behind UI and disable bloom and fog in directX11
I've got "ShaderToggler.addon" file, but I can't see 3 other files anywhere. Where should I download "ReShadeEffectShaderToggler" from? There is nothing in the 2nd link.

- [Shenmue 1 and 2] There's something about these 20-year-old graphics. No photomode. HUDs were cropped off

๐ ShaderToggler.addon ๐ ShaderToggler.ini ๐ฆ Source: "ShaderToggler_v101.zip" ^ This seems like an additional step for disabling the fog and bloom included with GW2's Postprocessing Low/High settings. Even though I tried it, I didn't have a reason to use this, as I found using my preset with the Postprocessing "None" option turned out better.
- PSA: You can toggle UI on & off during gameplay by using ShaderToggler

To anyone using Gshade with GW2, Gshade updates are stopping and people are recommending to uninstall it asap
Yes, Reshade (Addon-Version) 5.0+ has depth buffer. The UI exclusion is possible via an Addon called "Shader toggler" (https://github.com/FransBouma/ShaderToggler)

Reshade 5.5 is out!
The current addons I know of : * Shader Toggler This addon is meant to toggle a game's shaders on/off, not reshade effects. Very useful if a game offers no option of it's own to disable an annoying effect like filmgrain or TAA or any other effect you don't like.

AC Syndicate. Bright surfaces all over the city appear completely white. Roads, buildings, etc. Any tips on how to make it better? None of the in-game options affect it. Second pic is my custom preset.
Ah, yeah, it might even be some built-in tonemapping. Some games really overdo it with the contrasts. Older example: Splinter Cell Conviction. The tonemap is really all over the place. Luckily there are mods to disable it. You could try with Otis' shader toggler addon but there's no guarantee that it fixes your issue.

ReShade 5.1 have been released. Bugfixes!
It's called Shader Toggler and allows you to toggle shaders on and off. Wait a minute.. you might be thinking ..Reshade can already do that, and yes it can but only for it's own effects - Shader Toggler allows you to turn the GAME's shaders on and off, which is super useful if you'd rather do without certain annoying game effects.
What are some alternatives?
