I need you people to tell me if I'm an idiot or not, could I not just print a direct drive bracket and mount this to it? Seems so much easier than spending $100 on amazon for a kit
Maybe Prusa issue 602 can be somewhat relevant... https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/602

Distracting layer lines with new every feature
I’m aware that I have issue #602 going on here... But has anyone else experienced these more-obvious layer lines showing up whenever a new feature in the model is started? See the lines continuing along the walls that correspond with the steps and even the rear hole.

Unable to run thermal model calibration on MK3S+ Revo firmware 3.13.0 (TW: Cal. NOT IDLE)
It doesn't appear to be related to this known bug: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/4288

MK3S with Revo 6
Now comes thermal modeling which has issues with Revo 6. I completed steps 5-16 on Github (see https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/4105). This eliminated almost all the Revo 6 issues associated with thermal modeling. I would always get a beep and "Thermal Anomaly" warning on the LCD. Not a fatal printer error but annoying.

- What 3d printer should I buy? I been using the ender 3 for a long time and want to switch for a better one, my budget is around 500 dollars what would you recommend?
-
my friend is considering buying this printer but i can't identify it , is it good ? He planning on upgrading it.
The A8's were responsible for a few housefires due to not having thermal runaway activated in the firmware, there are much much better printers available these days, one printer that is built the same as this but is based on the Prusa MK3 is the Sovol SV-06 and is a very good machine https://sovol3d.com/products/sovol-sv06-direct-drive-3d-printer
-
Mk4?
And even then, there are plenty of clones with comparable (and even slightly better) features for less than half the price.

Did I make a mistake getting an Ender3 printer?
You print the replacement part on a different printer, order it directly on the aftermarket, purchase it from the manufacturer, or have it print over a print service, as the entire assembly has been published by sovol. https://github.com/Sovol3d/SV06-Fully-Open-Source

Maker’s Muse SV06 review
The files provided from Sovol are replacement models for the parts on the printer that you could 3d print or source elsewhere from what I understand https://github.com/Sovol3d/SV06-Fully-Open-Source . The One-Stop Shop https://github.com/bassamanator/Sovol-SV06-firmware/tree/master provides some updated klipper (custom firmware) configs that seem to work well on the sv06 and that same person is trying to gather info on the electronic parts of the machine as well so we can replace the parts as needed if something breaks and don't need to wait on Sovol to reply to source a replacement https://github.com/bassamanator/everything-sovol-sv06 . I personally would love to contribute to the teardown but this is my first 3d printer and I am not nearly knowledgeable enough to begin tearing this apart fully. I likely will to grease the bearings but mine seem to have avoided the issue that has plagued numerous others and will try to document things then.
