Regarding the error, you are correct, we have not implemented a log dialog. We plan to improve that in the future but its not a small work:

It supports many file formats, from digital content to scientific datasets (including glTF, STL, STEP, PLY, OBJ, FBX, Alembic), can show animations and support thumbnails and many rendering and texturing options including real time physically based rendering and raytracing.
New main features are better realtime animation and animatin scripting, HDRI drop, HDRI performance improvements and better camera placements.

LibreCAD - LibreCAD is a cross-platform 2D CAD program written in C++17. It can read DXF/DWG files and can write DXF/PDF/SVG files. It supports point/line/circle/ellipse/parabola/spline primitives. The user interface is highly customizable, and has dozens of translations.
OpenVDB - OpenVDB - Sparse volume data structure and tools
qcad - QCAD - The Open Source 2D CAD. QCAD is a cross-platform CAD solution for Windows, macOS and Linux. It supports the DXF format and optionally the DWG format (through a proprietary plugin).
