In seriousness though... whoops! Didn't notice the issue when I packaged up the update since the turret position was fine when I checked it in a replay (turret/gun position in the hangar is controlled separately from the in-battle position, because... WG, I guess?). Fix is now awaiting moderator approval on WGmods, or can be downloaded right away from the Github repo. :)

Open source but but commercial use is paid
If the code is compiled, you'd have to pull a few more tricks. But to be fair that is also an issue even if your code is not source available - people can (and do) decompile closed-source programs and hack on them. My personal favourite of that is https://multitheftauto.com/ where the community reverse engineered GTA San Andreas to add multiplayer
