  • Introducing Perseus for Rust web development! | 2021-09-04
Perseus is a high-level frontend development framework for Rust with full support for SSR and SSG. It aims to support all the rendering strategies of NextJS, including incremental generation and revalidation, but in WASM. It's based on Sycamore, and adds higher-level systems like an integration for Actix Web and a CLI for easy development. | 2021-09-04
Perseus uses Sycamore under the hood which is quite fast. You can see for yourself on js-framework-benchmark. In fact it's even a bit faster than Svelte! | 2021-09-04
Wow, that's amazing! Thanks for your interest! Right now, Perseus is in the very early stages, and SEO is still a potential issue with the current architecture, so I wouldn't use it in production yet, but for trying it out, go ahead! Also, Perseus does depend on Sycamore for lower-level reactivity work, which isn't fully production-ready yet either.

Working on getting Sycamore, a VDOM-less Rust + WASM web framework, ready for 0.5 release, in particular, fleshing out some plain points in router and improving performance.

I take a look at and it seems that it has no persistent storage yet (is this correct, u/simon583?). While other implementations include that, such as
