InfluxDB
Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
Additionally, we've used the Yarn Spinner tool to script the story, which later was imported into the game engine.
We've used Godot Engine - a bit lesser known game engine geared mainly towards 2D games (although it can do 3D as well, just don't expect as many bells and whistles as with Unity or Unreal). Had a really good experience using it so far, I highly recommend it for a smaller project if you need something a tad more powerful than, let's say, Construct or Renpy.
