  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS

  • PhysicsExamples2D

Examples of various Unity 2D Physics components and features.

  • Both Unity and Godot have good support for 2d graphics and can be used to build this type of game but you're going to be doing a lot more setup stuff yourself. Personally I prefer Godot, it seems nice and simple to get things working and the simplicity appeals to me, but as a new coder you may prefer the better docs Unity offers.

  • Godot

    Godot Engine – Multi-platform 2D and 3D game engine

  • learn-gdscript

Learn Godot's GDScript programming language from zero, right in your browser, for free.

  • I've been more than happy with the Godot docs myself but Unity does have a much larger set of tutorials due to the larger userbase, although the quality is likely to be shakier as it will attract more casual devs due to being the bigger name. That said I am interested to see the GDQuest tutorials after being very impressed by their Learn to code from zero with Godot tutorial as despite not being their target audience it did seem to be one of the nicest online learning setups I've ever seen.
