Moving Head Light Control via Joystick or Xbox Controller
I believe there's a couple of lighthack libraries to do this using an Arduino to spit OSC to the Ion. The GitHub link to get you started is https://github.com/ETCLabs/lighthack. I think there's one to use a Wii nunchuck which you may be able to adapt.

Existing problems for the development of VR gloves?
While there are other VR gloves discussed on reddit. They all seem to very bulky [1] [2] [3] and maybe are not being developed by computer engineers? It seems like there are 2 main problems.

Is there a way to do cheap VR on Linux?
I'd say either get a used Quest 2 to use with ALVR; or get a used Vive HMD with basestations, Slime Trackers and do a LucidVR-DIY for the controllers for cheapest full-body tracking.

Since one of the questions I got the most was how will I get in the exoskeleton when it's ready, here is a preview (arms missing but they will come too).
I had a thought the other day about other uses for this. Especially in VR eh. I'm hoping the guy with the diy VR Lucidgloves see's it, if you know what I mean. In VR if you lift something there's no weight irl but if servos could work against you so it feels like you're swinging Gut's broadsword or pushing a heavy door.
