Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Public Transport Simulator (a Unity Simulation Framework for OpenStreetMap data)
https://github.com/alen-smajic/3D-Public-Transport-Simulator The aim of this project is the development of a public transport simulation framework which can be used as a backbone for the development of more complex simulations and applications. It consists of a 3D city model, a graphical representation of the local public transport and its network connections and an interactive feature which lets you browse all possible network connections and generates transport vehicles, that move across the stations. This all is incorporated in a realistic geographical environment, which is true to scale. To achieve this, the framework uses data from the OpenStreetMap project as well as the Mapbox SDK for Unity. One advantage of this approach is that you can basically simulate any location on the planet. The project is open source, the link is posted above. Hope you have some fun with it :)

Any .net based project looking for contributor?
Hi, if you are interested in Unity you can take a look at this one: https://github.com/alen-smajic/3D-Public-Transport-Simulator
What are some alternatives?
flowframes - Flowframes Windows GUI for video interpolation using DAIN (NCNN) or RIFE (CUDA/NCNN)
blosm - Blosm addon for Blender. A few clicks import of Google 3D cities, OpenStreetMap, terrain. Global coverage. Source code is in the branch 'release'.
OpenSeeFace - Robust realtime face and facial landmark tracking on CPU with Unity integration
Mapsui - Mapsui is a .NET Map component for: MAUI, WPF, Avalonia, Uno, Blazor, WinUI, Xamarin and Eto
Alturos.Yolo - C# Yolo Darknet Wrapper (real-time object detection)
Reconstruction-of-the-Synagogue-Hoechst - This project is part of the Stolperwege App, which is developed by the Text Technology Lab at Goethe University Frankfurt. The task was to develop a 3D reconstruction of the Synagogue Höchst, which was destroyed during the Novemberpogrome 1938.
com.unity.perception - Perception toolkit for sim2real training and validation in Unity
Subway-Station-Hazard-Detection - This project is part of the CS course 'Systems Engineering Meets Life Sciences II' at Goethe University Frankfurt. In this Computer Vision project, we developed a first prototype of a security system which uses the surveillance cameras at subway stations to recognize dangerous situations. The training data was artificially generated by a Unity-based simulation.
ailab - Experience, Learn and Code the latest breakthrough innovations with Microsoft AI
Jellyfin - The Free Software Media System
Real-time-Object-Detection-for-Autonomous-Driving-using-Deep-Learning - My Computer Vision project from my Computer Vision Course (Fall 2020) at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany. Performance comparison between state-of-the-art Object Detection algorithms YOLO and Faster R-CNN based on the Berkeley DeepDrive (BDD100K) Dataset.
mapsnap - A small command line tool to grab images from OpenStreetMap, with the purpose of creating snapshots and mapping timelapses.
