Trying to import "No More Room in Hell" models and animations but failed
Hi, I am trying to import NMRiH models and animation into blender, I tried Blender Source Tool SourceIO and plumberr, but none of them works. If these tools can't do this job, is there any other tool can help me?

I extract models and textures from the SFM and GMod workshops using this website and this Add-on to import them into Blender.

Blender and Dota 2
Then use this Blender addon: https://github.com/REDxEYE/SourceIO

does anyone have/know where to find the developer commentary model? i'm not knowledgeable enough, apologies
The path for the model is models/extras/info_speech.mdl. If you'd like to use it outside of Source, you can extract the model with Crowbar and convert to a more usable format like .fbx through Blender with SourceIO.

I'm very new to SFM, and I just got a model of Judgement from Helltaker that I plan on posing and exporting to Blender for a 3D print. How do I load the body model with all of its separate clothing models/pose them all together?
Add this addon to Blender and click import, source engine, mdl, then navigate to your workshop items.

I made a render with Yakuza 5 protagonists using Blender!
There is an online resource of Yakuza models already ported by someone named Tension, just use SourceIO to import them to Blender and start editing/adjusting them for your own use from there. Note, disable the BlenderVertexShader in the import settings as they're not used by the models and are insanely complex, slowing Blender down.

Valve is not interested in licensing a community-made version of SFM. Help?
A great use of your skills would be to bring SFMs animation tools like the motion editor and Source's content library to something more ubiquitous like Blender. We already have great importing tools for Source's content thanks to REDxEYE's SourceIO tools: https://github.com/REDxEYE/SourceIO/

Is it possible to make maps in blender?
IMO though, better to block out in Hammer then import it into blender using the free plugin https://github.com/REDxEYE/SourceIO
-
does anybody know how to import goldsrc models into blender?
Option A. Use the SourceIO Blender Plugin to directly import GoldSrc .mdl into Blender

I want to learn how to data mine games I enjoy, such as Animal Jam Classic, but I’m not sure where to start.
If you're lucky, the developers will have used a standard format to store their assets and you can just use an existing asset extractor to do the dirty work for you: Unreal, Unity, and Flash (.swf) are some of the most popular ones.

Does anyone know how to extract texture files from Infinite?
Many people use UE Viewer. sm

3D models
There are posts about getting models somewhat on the regular, any amount of searching nets you the answer, ironically some of them by me. Get umodel and simply overwrite the auto game detection to smite and point the game path to wherever you have smite installed "SMITE\BattleGame\CookedPCConsole". From there just select whichever gods files you are looking for, beware that the upks only contain a extremely low quality dummy texture.

To assist you in extracting Unreal Engine files, you can use the Unreal Extraction Tool developed by Gildor: Unreal Extraction Tool.

Where can I found Smite assets ?
You gonna have to extract them yourself with umodel. Open the program, select to overwrite game detection setting the engine to unreal 3 and smite from the game list. The game file path is the CookedPCConsole folder wherever you have smite installed. (example F:\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\SMITE\BattleGame\CookedPCConsole)

I extract models and textures from Deadbydaylight and Deep Rock Galatic using UE Viewer and import them using this Add-on.

Grunt Killer
I extract the models from the game with UE Viewer, and use this add-on to import them into Blender. The Textures for the most part (the tattoos are also extracted and for some materials like the skin I just use shaders) are painted and UV edited by me.

Here's a script for importing Deus Ex level textures into Blender
1: You must already have the DX1 textures in a loose file format recognized by Blender (.png, .dds, .tga, ect.). They need to otherwise retain their original names. The textures can be acquired via UModel/UE Viewer. New Vision textures will work also.
