1 project | reddit.com/r/3dspiracy | 29 Jul 2022
PKSM is a cia that can be used for storage like Pokemon Bank (though you can’t transfer to Pokemon Home). It also gives you the option to inject events to your game and custom Pokemon(Ex: Custom moves, Rayquaza that’s standard form is Mega).

Is there a safe way to back up saves for the 3DS Pokemon games?
3 projects | reddit.com/r/pokemon | 3 Jul 2022
By the way, if you will be backing up a lot of Pokemon games, I recommend considering installing PKSM, a Pokemon Save Manager. Checkpoint is like a general purpose backup tool, PKSM comes with a lot of nifty Pokemon-specific features, like a cross-game bank.
Is there PKSM or a version of PKHeX for the switch yet?

Can I trade in Pokémon black using twilightmenu++?
1 project | reddit.com/r/3dspiracy | 20 Jun 2022
/u/BlackJack313 mentioned using PKSM to move the pokemon between games instead of trading. If you have a modded system and can install it, this would be better for larger amounts of pokemon.

On 3DS there's PKSM and on DSi there's pkmn-chest which can edit the Pokémon games right on console or you can also easily dump your saves, edit with PKHeX on PC, and inject using homebrew as well.

FTPD is like microSD management but for old 3ds. It comes in handy when I'm on my laptop and don't have my SD card reader.

SD card not working
1 project | reddit.com/r/3dspiracy | 30 May 2022
Does your computer read other SD cards? Do you have a different SD card reader to test it with? The SD card might be dying if the PC and SD reader work fine with other cards. You can use FTPD to transfer the contents if nothing else works, but it will take a while if you have a lot on the SD card.
Hello- please have mercy & help a new homebrew-er out!
1 project | reddit.com/r/3dspiracy | 19 May 2022
You can install TWiLightMenu++ from Universal Updater. You can use NDSForwarder to be able to launch the games from the Home Menu. To get DS ROMs, you will need to either dump a cartridge, get an SD card adapter for your computer, or use ftpd (which takes a while for large files).
How do I back up Pokémon games to my pc?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/3dspiracy | 9 May 2022
If you’re playing on a cartridge, use Checkpoint to back up the save. If you’re playing via TWiLightMenu++, the save will already be on your SD card. Then just copy the save to your PC, with either an SD reader, microSD management, or ftpd. Then do whatever save editing you want to do and transfer the file back. For TWiLightMenu++, just put the save in the original location, and for a physical cartridge, you can restore the save with Checkpoint.
is it possible to access sd card from the switch itself?
5 projects | reddit.com/r/SwitchPirates | 15 Mar 2022
yes you can use FTP, either https://github.com/mtheall/ftpd or https://github.com/cathery/sys-ftpd-light, you still need to transfer your files prior, also you can mount your switch via usbc cable using tegragui, I also believe there's a homebrew app that allows you to access the microsd card via usb cable https://github.com/retronx-team/mtp-server-nx i think
