Can I trade in Pokémon black using twilightmenu++?
/u/BlackJack313 mentioned using PKSM to move the pokemon between games instead of trading. If you have a modded system and can install it, this would be better for larger amounts of pokemon.

On 3DS there's PKSM and on DSi there's pkmn-chest which can edit the Pokémon games right on console or you can also easily dump your saves, edit with PKHeX on PC, and inject using homebrew as well.

Action Replay for 3DS
For cheating in Pokémon specifically, though, you're better off using a save editor like PKHeX after dumping the save file, or PKSM, which edits saves directly on the 3DS at the cost of some advanced functionality.

You may also be able to just use PKSM, pkmn-chest, or PKHeX to edit the save if you have access to it.

Is there a way to hack rare candies into a real DS cartridge (not a flash cart or ROM) without using an action replay/ GameShark?
If you have a 3DS you can get custom firmware and install PKSM, which is both an offline Pokémon Bank that works with gen 4/5 cartridges and a save editor.

Game not recognizing SD card despite system recognizing and using SD card.
v11.0 is the latest. You can get the update via Universal Updater. You can also get it from the GitHub page for it: https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases

3DS not turning on, when taking SD card this shows up. Pls help
The SD card is using either an outdated or missing Luma version. When removing the SD card, the internal install is successfully loaded, but with no saved configuration. You needn't enable any of these settings, but this page will teach you what each can do. That GitHub site will also let you download the latest boot.firm to plop on the SD card to boot with it inserted.

adding new cheat codes to checkpoint
I followed the instructions from https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/wiki/Cheat-Engine. Though I couldn't find the title id anywhere on the internet, rosalina told me "no available cheat codes for " as I tried to open the cheats folder while playing, so I guess this is what I was searching for.
