Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Best language to bind with (C++, Rust, others ?)
So have I have this project of writing a geometric kernel, something in the vibes of Opencascade : https://dev.opencascade.org/
- Any recommendations for a simple solid modeling API library? Preferably C or C++

"Time till Open Source Alternative" - measuring time until a FOSS alternative to popular applications appear
What is this opencascade open source cad. The only thing I find is freeware (not open source) stuff at https://dev.opencascade.org

PrusaSlicer 2.5 beta1 is out and it can import STEP files directly!๐งก So you can skip exporting and sharing STLs completely when it comes to mechanical parts.
They integrated OCCT, so they do now have code to read STEP as part of the code base. Yes, I am aware it is tessellated right now (which is the obvious first step to make it work), but that can be changed in future. Point is: they now have at least half of the necessary code available.

3D library for engineering calculations.
The only thing coming to mind is https://dev.opencascade.org/ - it was the original kernel of the ipad app shapr3d.

Which CAD programs are most widely used and which are loved most by engineers in different fields?
The OpenSource cad project, are you talking about this? https://dev.opencascade.org

OpenCascade libraries have no symbols?

What does Freecad need?
Also, FreeCAD is built on the OCCT library and it inherits many of its limitations from that. Ideally, a lot of issues should be fixed in the library and FreeCAD would automatically be improved. Unfortunately, and I could be wrong, but I don't think FreeCAD developers have much influence on what happens at OCCT, apart from filing bug reports and such.

FreeCAD and undefined behavior in C++ code: meditation for developers
FreeCAD is a general-purpose parametric 3D computer-aided design (CAD) modeler. This open-source software application is based on C, C++, and Python. PVS-Studio doesn't support Python at the moment, so I will only check the C and C++ parts. Here is the link to the project code.

if any of you guys uses a 3d printer to make concrete molds, please give me the pdfs for them.
Hi! 3d printers read .stl files, generally. You can design your own files for free with FreeCAD in a relatively simple format before sending them to your slicer and printer. Out of personal experience, design a silicone component into your mold, as the hard plastic is unforgiving when de-molding. Good luck!
- is there anyway to specif that autosaves are stored in one central path?

Rocket Nosecone Modelling
Second Way: I don't use this second method as the first one already works for me. However, you can download FreeCAD, which is an OpenSourced Free to use software for many hobbyists. I personally think it's slightly trickier to get used to but it works! You can watch this video to model a nose cone in FreeCAD.
What are some alternatives?
CavalierContours - 2D polyline library for offsetting, combining, etc.
LibreCAD - LibreCAD is a cross-platform 2D CAD program written in C++17. It can read DXF/DWG files and can write DXF/PDF/SVG files. It supports point/line/circle/ellipse/parabola/spline primitives. The user interface is highly customizable, and has dozens of translations.
