  • Is there a software for woodworking?
Haven't tried it yet, but from what I've seen FreeCAD seems to be pretty comprehensive.
  • What software to you design with? | 2021-04-17
If you're doing functional designs, TinkerCAD is a really great place to start. it can get you through the first few weeks, working with shapes and boolean operations and trying to design things intentionally. FreeCAD is the more advanced free offering, it's not as flashy as commercial options but it's actually free and you're not at the whim of a mega corp. OpenSCAD is a very weird offering, if you took math in university it's probably worth checking out but it's a bit difficult to really get into.
  • AutoDesk REVIT and it's alternatives
The most relevant free alternative to revit and archicad is Freecad as it has BIM and parametric modeling down and is constantly updated. It has a bit of a learning curve but it's extremely powerful:

I am a new user, running Arch with awesome window manager and picom (no unified desktop environment). When I try setting a different stylesheet, only three dark (blue, green, orange) and three light (blue, green, orange) show up, instead of all those that are listed here:
