The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Simple nav robot
You can try to grasp the concept better by looking for examples. I recommend you to see some such as nox robot, or using ros control like autonomous mobile robot I have built my own using intel NUC and esp32 called rovit_controlle for the firmware, and rovit_navsys for the navigation part

Application of Differential Steering in ROS
I think it best learnt through example. You can find the implementation in autonomous mobile robot by bandasaikrishna

How to Convert?
I made my robot autonomous in the same way by following the steps and drawings at this address. GITHUB LINK
I have an autonomous robot and ı use nvdia jetson, two hub motor and two arduino and hub motor driver. I use two arduino ( left and right ) and bldc drivers to turn the wheels, and arduinos communicate with ROS (nvidia jetson) with i2c protocol. THIS LINK ARDUINO CODE
