If you're into C# there's also a prerolled project here: https://github.com/DoubleDeez/MDFramework that seems to do a lot of what you probably already have going using GDScript but that (IIRC) has a scene rewinder.

First Project - Is there a Firebase SDK for C#?
From what I understand the C# support Godot 3 is rather limited, and you'll end up doing a lot of GDScript work around its limitations anyways. If you can wait on mobile support, 4.0 will be a nicer C# experience, but it still isn't a first-class citizen in Godot. For example, quickly adding new C# based resources to the Editor GUI isn't baked in. You'd need (https://github.com/Atlinx/Godot-Mono-CustomResourceRegistry) or something like it, as a plug-in. There's no '''class_name''' equivalent to quickly register a C# extended class as a new Node, without creating a custom plug-in.
