Project mention: Raylib is a simple and easy-to-use library to enjoy videogames programming | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-07-04Raylib is awesome! It reminds me of the old school days of using BlitzBASIC to get things drawn on screen because it's easy and so much fun. This is how programming used to be, no fuss, just easy to use libraries.
I currently use Raylib with Go and the Go bindings[1] to create screensavers for Linux and I'm really happy with the results.
I even use it at work to draw interactive infrastructure diagrams that animate dependencies, allow controlling start-up etc. It's really flexible and simpler than anything else I've found to get stuff on-screen. I love it!

Project mention: Is there beginners tutorial for learning C++ along with raylib? | /r/raylib | 2023-06-03Look here, there are examples in C++ (not C as on the Raylib website) https://github.com/RobLoach/raylib-cpp/tree/master/examples
Project mention: VSCode terminal not recognizing installed libraries | /r/cpp_questions | 2023-09-22I am currently going through a very basic starter repository for raylib, which compiles just fine in my gnome terminal, but does not compile in the VSCode terminal. This has happened with a few other libraries that I've tried to install- where VSCode does not compile, but my gnome terminal does. How do I get rid of these "red squigglies" that VSCode is putting under these library includes that it can't resolve, and more importantly, how do I get this to compile from VSCode? Do I just bite the bullet and configure vim?
