  you might want to read mastering bitcoin it will answer all these questions, the paperback is great but i think you can get the entire book for free on this github https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook or it might just be complementry with all the code samples mentioned in the book.

  Bitcoin Core generates addresses randomly. If you create a backup of your wallet and import it in other computer, the new addresses generated by each instance will be different. The Bitcoin Core instance from where you sent de bitcoins has generated new adresses which aren't in your other wallets. As someone suggested in previous comments, you need to backup again and restore the wallet in the other computers. Maybe you should use a wallet with support for a seed, which will generate always the same adresses in any computer (hierarchical deterministic wallets).
