  • Good Smartthings LED Strip that has lots of options or scenes
I did a DIY solution for 3 led strips in our kitchen. I bought 5m of WS2812 LEDs from amazon for about 30 and a set of diffusers for about 10. For the brain, I used WLED NodeMcu. The guide I used when putting together the hardware a couple years ago recommended using a buffer gate between the NodeMcu and the LED strip, but the guides I've seen recently for WLED don't mention this. I wanted to make it look really nice so I ordered some PCBs to solder everything onto (like $5 delivered from china)
