Bullet Physics SDK: real-time collision detection and multi-physics simulation for VR, games, visual effects, robotics, machine learning etc.
Note that this is all speculation based on my experience with lag and coding physics engines. I have not read the source code of the physics engine. Although the code made by Axolot is closed-source, they have said that they use the Bullet physics engine. You could get some more info by reading up on how that works.
