widelands VS PINCE

There's an open source game called Widelands (https://www.widelands.org/) that is very similar in aesthetics to Settlers 2.

Time to move on to widelands.

Widelands- Technically a Settlers II clone, it has probably deviated enough now to be its own game. Classic RTS, economy sim.

Another one could be PINCE Github, literally the same ui as Cheat Engine!

Another project worth taking a look at, as an alternative to CheatEngine, is PINCE.

it can run via wine/proton with ceserver, speed hack does not work tho but there is https://github.com/evg-zhabotinsky/libspeedhack which does, there is also a alt to cheat engine called pince which would be less complicated to setup https://github.com/korcankaraokcu/PINCE

PINCE - GDB front-end/reverse engineering tool, focused on game-hacking and automation.

As for more active alternatives, maybe consider PINCE? It's GitHub was updated in the past week and it has a Discord server.
