it can run via wine/proton with ceserver, speed hack does not work tho but there is https://github.com/evg-zhabotinsky/libspeedhack which does, there is also a alt to cheat engine called pince which would be less complicated to setup https://github.com/korcankaraokcu/PINCE

As for more active alternatives, maybe consider PINCE? It's GitHub was updated in the past week and it has a Discord server.

PvP ready?
Download Grand Archives Cheat Table. Use this to unlock graces and enable/disable certain invasion zones. Being able to disable all open world invasions and only invade dungeons is a godsend. You won't get banned if you run this through Mod Engine 2 since that disables EAC and online play (at least I haven't been banned after making several characters and playing for months).

Is it safe to change NG+ cycle with Cheat Engine?
I used this table. I guess I'll write some simple steps for anyone else that's interested in doing this.

The safest way is to use the offline launcher here and the table here. Lots of things in this table can still get you banned, but they should mostly be color coded. Things like spawning items and souls through `ItemGib` and `AddSoul` are safe to use. Modifying your stats and/or starting class so that they do not align with your level will get you banned.
