Interactive asset "eye"cons. Definitely a useful tool, and not me procrastinating.
This is essentially the approach I used in PvCustomizer to replace project icons for Scriptable Objects with more useful images (e.g. icon sprites). Might be useful!

Tip: It's very easy to forget to add icons to your ScriptableObjects - it's very easy and it makes a huge difference!
This is a good built-in way, but it will give all of your Scriptable Objects the same color. Alternatively, you could import this package PvCustomizer and draw icons based on the data, e.g. showing the sprite set to a field in the SO.
