Unity Software plans to reduce its workforce by 25%, eliminating ~1,800 jobs
In general it took me less time to rewrite the code-base then implementing some of the workarounds for missing features in Unity (e.g. HTTP2) in the first place.

Thinking switch from C++ to C#. Some questions. Part 2
I don't know where you have all these GC problems. There must be a problem with your design. I run real time automation stuff in C#, GC doesn't caused any problem yet. Stride3D docs says, that's if you put a lot of big objects in the heap without reusing them, you will hit big GC pause: https://github.com/stride3d/stride/wiki/On-Garbage-Collection But most of the time it's trivial to reuses those.

Relaunch of r/stride3d
This could be set as a prominent link somewhere, it is the official stride forums: https://github.com/stride3d/stride/discussions

hi i'm new is unity still usable after the whole scandal of the past like 3 weeks or so ? thanks
If you like to develop in C#, the free and open-source game engine Stride is a good alternative. But it really depends on your needs and skill level: https://github.com/stride3d/stride

End of the Machinery Game Engine
> ...you are requested to delete The Machinery source code and binaries.
This is pretty weird.
Then again, in regards to the engine itself dying, I feel like this is inevitable for many of the projects out there. For example, there was the Xenko engine which was later renamed to Stride: https://www.stride3d.net/
It's actually a nice project, has lots of great features and feels like it should be a more open alternative to Unity, whilst being similarly easy to use. However, compare the attention it is getting in comparison to something like Godot:

Unity is merging with ironSource

Help getting back into hacking Battle Cats (Mobile)
Battle Cats Save Editor is an alternative and it still works. It’s pretty easy to use.
-
Does anyone know how to hack cat food xp and or tickets in and also how to do it without being banned
Both: Battle Cats Save Editor (needs access to SAVE_DATA file)
-
i can't play anymore, any fix?
late reply but you should use the battle cats save editor instead. it has a feature where you can obtain all cats or a certain cat of choice and level them up to max level without getting banned.

Hack to get cats
install bluestacks on your windows computer and root it (search up a tutorial on how to root bluestacks). data transfer your save onto bluestacks and install mt manager onto your emulator. next on the left side, navigate to /data/data/jp.co.ponos.battlecatsen/files and copy the SAVA_DATA file onto /storage/emulated/0/Downloads (on the right side). after that, open bluestacks preinstalled media manager and click on navigate and go to the download folder. hold left click on the save data file and export it to windows. put it in a location where you can find it. next install battle cats save editor on your computer and follow on screen instructions to get the cats you want and even more. to get the save back into battle cats, on media manager click import from windows and click the save data file you just modified (not the backup). after that go to mt manager and (on the right) navigate to storage/emulated/0/DCIM/SharedFolder and move that file to the left (where you had battle cats file location open). make sure to close battle cats from the app tray before reopening it and enjoy.

Think there is one but it requires a rooted device, and the lethal editor and backup manager may never come back. https://github.com/fieryhenry/Battle-Cats-Save-File-Editor
