Coding for holidays/market closures
In python, I use the `holidays` package:
-
looking for holidays to change alerts that is coming in
Currently have: python-holidays/united_states.py at master · dr-prodigy/python-holidays · GitHub. For holiday search going.
- need help with a list of holidays
-
holidays package just returning an empty dict {}?
Looking at the code, I'd say that since the base class inherits from dict and this part doesn't really do much for initialisation, I'd wager a guess that it's working as intended. The US one seems to use different holidays for every state, for one.
