What requirements are necessary to go for Isolation in Truepath?
It seems I somehow fucked up the possibility to choose Isolation in Truepath (I filed a bug report here: https://github.com/pmotschmann/Evolve/issues/928).

What are good games to learn by reading its source code? (javascript, maybe?)
Evolve has open source code, and it's somewhat readable. It uses Vue.

Play offline
Download the game files from https://github.com/pmotschmann/Evolve (you can do this with git, or clicking on "code" near the top right and then downloading the zip, then unzipping that file)
- French string pack
-
Tech - Intergalactic Wiki link not working
I had that happen too, then after a while it was corrected: https://github.com/pmotschmann/Evolve/issues/664

String Packs
that covers most things, not sure what else you are looking for. Just look at the strings.json
- javascript website hosting?

How do devs handle the math of levels/upgrades scaling upwards?
And many(most?) don't. In fact, many, games, even have, their repos available under permissive license that you can use for your own work.

(Mild spoilers for late-game resets) Question about a race found in the source code
While I was searching, though, I realized that one of the files (space.js line 5768 at the time of writing) contains the data for a "zombie" species: A tooltip, a description, planet names, etc etc... Seemingly everything needed for a playable race. They don't appear to have any traits, and they seem to be related to the custom race mechanic in some way, but since I haven't reached that point yet I can't really make sense of the code. Are they a placeholder in case something goes wrong? Or maybe is it just the set of default options that first come up when creating a custom race?

Compressed files (not installers) for the popular mods?
So far, I see only the successor to Rise and Fall (https://github.com/dguenms/Dawn-of-Civilization). I can't find anything for A New Dawn or Ffh2.

Rhyse and fall, dawn of civilization
Check the shortcut properties and see if it is directed to the proper location. You might have Civ installed in an unusual place. I never deal with the installer, just grab the latest version from https://github.com/dguenms/Dawn-of-Civilization - code > download zip, extract to mods\RFC Dawn of Civilization.
