org-xournalpp VS el-easydraw

Many packages like org-krita/org-yt/org-excalidraw/org-xournalpp allow custom files to be displayed inline by means of a custom link type. However, they don't work when the file is linked as an attachment, which makes me think that there may be a better way to achieve this.

By Xournalpp-mode do you mean org-xournalpp? I was not able to find a package named Xournalpp-mode.

When writing in org-mode (most of my research writing) I use org-xournalpp to add rough sketches and figures.

https://github.com/misohena/el-easydraw is a cool proof of concept, but on installing it was practically unusable for me. Probably some setting on the preview size made the canvas too small, and the mouse did not line up with the icons to add things to the canvas. Still, amazing this is even possible!

I had not thought of this. I found this editor as well which looks promising. I’ll try it out.

And with org-noter one can easily interface with org-mode, and then maybe some more.
