naps2 VS ScreenToGif

If you have a HP Printer there is scanning software program (Free and Open source) called Not Another PDF Scanner. https://www.naps2.com/ It's simple to use and works really good with HP printers unlike the software that comes with the printers. Everyone who wants to scan with a HP printers needs this software.

Brother DCP-L2550DW here. One of the cheapest b/w multifunction devices with automatic document feeder and reasonable print and scan performance. Works like a charm on Linux, Windows, Android, and IOS.

I am using it with [NAPS2](https://www.naps2.com/), which is brilliantly simple, multi-platform, free, and open-source.

If you want to add page, remove page, split, merge, reorder, re-orient all or individual pages, ... May I recommend the glorious NAPS2 [1] ?

It's meant as a scanning tool but works just fine without scanning just drag and drop a pdf on it.

It doesn't do in-page editing or annotation, it's "one layer above" that.

Tips: For PDF management/splitting/rotation/cropping ect before import: NAPS2 is a good tool (Windows, Linux, Mac). It also support ocr (same as paperless-ngx use) https://www.naps2.com/

To scan to image files, use the included Windows Fax & Scan app. To scan to PDF files, use NAPS2.

If you are on windows this can scan and OCR using tesseract. https://www.naps2.com/

Try https://www.naps2.com/ It has Arabic support. Once installed with OCR settings, if you drap pdf onto app, it does OCR.

By following these steps, your diagram will be exported as an SVG, keeping the animation intact. If you find yourself on a platform that doesn't support SVG, you can use external programs like ScreenToGif. This program lets you record your screen and export the recording as a GIF. Handy for platforms that prefer GIFs over SVGs.

ScreenToGif has a very nice editor that can make cinemagraphs, remove duplicate frames, etc.

ffmpeg can make gifs, but I don't know how you would do stuff like static regions. It could probably be done with some masking and filtering, but I think you would need to make the mask separately so why not use a GUI gif editor instead?

If you need to show the screen, you should take a screen shot of the entire window, via Window->SaveScreenshot, rather than using a cell phone or something. Take the entire screen instead of just the one part you think is broken. The reason it's broken is not the part, but something else, or you would have already figured out why it's broken. (Sadly, blender no longer has built in screen-animation recording for some reason, but I'm told https://www.screentogif.com/ is a good tool to have handy.)

Happily. Is free https://www.screentogif.com/ I record the screen, halve the gif size, add the steps in writing at the bottom of the gif, then paste it into a google doc.

I just used the first result which comes up when you search for a GIF recorder in google.
