When you can’t be asked to get up and press a button
IKEA IDASEN has LINAK lifting columns (specifically the DL11IC), which can be controlled by bluetooth. Its APIs are open and there’s everything from open source github api projects to a freemac app, free linux app, apart from linak’sown pc, android and iOS apps. This one in the video is a paid iOS app i found called Desk Remote Control, which enables siri shortcuts. There’s also many HomeAssistant integrations.

Water Meter Consumption
I did this way first but It did not answer my main problem: I need a on_turn_off event to do a test (see https://github.com/hugokernel/esphome-water-meter/blob/master/watermeter.yaml#L317) and when you use effects, on_turn_off is never called.
