- Can I install things like Ofelia via another method other than internet connection?
- Can C++ run live? e.g. like a scripting language such as Lua?
- Does pure data has the same audiovisual capabilities as max?

Happily using Manjaro for music production! Are you too?
There is one thing that have stuck with me, though: Pure Data. I use it in one of my mobile apps as the audio backend, and the patch it is using is released as open source. The great thing about audio on Linux is that is allows users to easily delve into the technicalities of things. One of the reasons I took CS and became a programmer was because of following the Ardour developer mailing list and taking inspiration from there.
What are some alternatives?
nullc - Fast C-like programming language with advanced features
plugdata - Pure Data as a plugin, with a new GUI
OpenFrameworks - openFrameworks is a community-developed cross platform toolkit for creative coding in C++.
hvcc - The heavy hvcc compiler for Pure Data patches.

nsis - ***This is just a mirror of https://sf.net/projects/nsis -- please report issues there*** NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a professional open source system to create Windows installers. It is designed to be as small and flexible as possible and is therefore very suitable for internet distribution.
