I made a 2D shoot 'em up game with Go and Ebitengine. Featuring ECS (Entity Component System).
One of the most complex behaviors is evolving airplanes after collecting power-ups. It animates two sprites over time, the code is here.

I'm building a cross-platform "desktop pet" for Linux/Win/Mac. What's a simple way to create a proper Mac application with icons and stuff?
I ended up creating a minimal .app bundle and telling users how to right-click-open to bypass the "unverified developer" warning. I guess that's a little bit less intimidating than telling them to run a terminal command...
- Very simple cross-platform "desktop pet" that I wrote to learn Go and ebitengine

A bare minimum "desktop pet" - my first ebitengine project
Hi folks, Go noob here. I wanted some project to get a feel for the language and ebitengine seemed like a simple enough framework. This one is inspired by those "desktop pets" that seemed to be popular during my teens. It only has 3 animations for now though.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing airplanes and shark you can also consider the following projects:
donburi - Just another ECS library for Go/Ebitengine
ganim8 - Sprite animation library for Ebitengine inspired by anim8
raylib-5k
tetra3d - Tetra3D is a 3D hybrid software/hardware renderer made for games written in Go with Ebitengine.
GeoDesk - Fast and storage-efficient spatial database engine for OpenStreetMap data
mizu - Entity Component System framework for Ebitengine
moonshot-rts - An RTS game made in Go for Github Game Off 2020
ebitengine-bunny-mark - Implementation of a popular graphics benchmark written on Ebitengine.
kage-desk - You know Ebitengine but not Kage?!
Ebiten - Ebitengine - A dead simple 2D game engine for Go
